gretchenGretchen’s design philosophy of pairing contemporary elements with rustic and vintage accessories, makes for a luxurious and inviting retreat. No two houses are alike. She prides herself in getting to know each homeowner during the initial consultation, and then selecting items that will not only surround them in luxury, but actually reveal their own individual style. After working as an interior designer on Philadelphia’s prestigious Main Line for 18 years, Gretchen Mannion has moved to Sarasota to embrace a more outdoorsy lifestyle.  Gretchen’s unique interior design approach and her ability to pair contemporary elements with both rustic and vintage accessories sets her apart in her field.  She has found a niche in creating one of a kind Sarasota luxury interiors in a climate that lends itself to a wide variety of styles.

Gretchen has been featured on QVC, is credited as a set and costume designer for one of Family Fun Magazine’s Top Ten children’s videos,has taught interior design workshops at Chester County Night School and The Learning Studio in Malvern. In addition,she has decorated several commercial offices and The Prince on Delaware Restaurant in Historic New Castle, Delaware. The majority of her work has been in the rejuvenation of hundreds of affluent residential homes including working her own magic at the home of illusionist, David Copperfield.

Currently, Gretchen writes a column, Green With Envy, for SRQ magazine and is on the committee for both The Firefly Gala and Wine Women and Shoes in Sarasota.
